There was a village, and it came to pass that right next
to it, a group of demons decided to build a village of
their own. It was their desire to drive out the original
villagers with endless attacks on their livestock, on
their fields and on their people. But one day, a hero
came by; and the villagers all cried to him to go and
drive away the demons who had made their lives a misery.
The hero thought about it and said, "I'll lead you for
this one time, but this is your battle, this is your
village. You need to learn to stand up for yourselves."
The villagers were scared at first but had no choice but
to agree. When they saw the hero's heart be strong,
their hearts grew strong as well and they drove out the
demons; this spread through the valleys of the world and
never did another horde try their luck with this
particular village, ever again - even though the hero
had long gone. |
