Magic Mirror

Here.

Rest a while.

Take a seat,
take the weight
off your feet.

Take a deep breath.

There.

Have a drink.

A chalice sparkling,
green and life,
delicious, inviting,
let it touch your lips,
your tongue
and brighten you,
lighten you.

Now.

A gift for you:

Open the pretty box
and find within
a crystal ball
but wait,
what can you see
inside?

Look closely.

There, amidst a deep
and wondrous midnight blue,
sparks of light
swimming, shifting,
revealing and unveiling,
a galaxy of stars
of life and of existence,
in slow motion,
beautiful,
amazing.

Entirely fascinated,
you look up -
you smile your thanks
and I am glad
you like
the mirror.
