Mother Spider

Ariadne,
mother spider,
spins her web.

This is no work.

The silken threads just
follow where she goes
where the wind blows.

Ariadne sings and laughs,
she never turns around
she never sees the true expansion
mastery in tapestry
all the worlds
encompassed and depicted here.

Ariadne lives and breathes, sleeps
and drifts the timeless tides
wakes refreshed to travel yet again -
a shining ocean
or a violet moon
has caught her eye.
