Teaching Stories by Silvia Hartmann

I'm not sure I like the term "teaching stories". It sounds dry, dusty and boring, and that's the very opposite of a good story that sticks in your mind, or a metaphor story that you remember and that actually changes your own behaviour from the moment you've heard it for the first time.

Unlike an affirmation, if a story "fits", it produces immediate and long lasting change, first time round. One trial learning, and that's a holy grail in personal development, as far as I am concerned.

These teaching stories have a point and a moral each; they can be used for NLP practice, many have hypnotic components and all are based upon events which I've lived and insights I thoroughly enjoyed, found useful myself.
