The Love Of Logic

by Silvia Hartmann

I got to thinking about the logic of love or in general, the logic of emotions just now and thought, well we really need to make a distinction between two very different kinds of emotions which aren't the same species and which, if they are confused, makes for a very untidy paradise.

When people talk about "emotions", good or bad, it matters not, what they usually mean by that is "disturbed emotions" - spasms of insanity, be they "love" or "sadness" or "grief" or "anger", it matters really not.

Apart from a few holy folk across the ages, people just don't know or are able to experience that other species of emotions, the logical ones.

The ones that are really completely OTHER THAN what humanity has gotten used to over the past hundred thousand years or so.

These seem to occur when our totality systems all get into sync with one another for the briefest of moments (like some grand conjunction in a solar system) and have these strange, mystical names like "enlightenment experience", "numinous experience", "being in the zone", "star states" - in other words, they're so rare there aren't even any decent words to describe them.

Thing is this.

Although a teenage girl sitting there, starry eyed focussing in on a pop star and declaring "undying love" really thinks that is the same kind of love or is even vaguely related to the sort of "universal numinous love" the prophets talk about, it isn't.

And here's a really simple guide as to tell when we are dealing with disturbed emotions or with the other species, the logical emotions.

One make sense, the others don't.

One is practical, reasonable and rational, and the other isn't.

One is proactive, beneficial, healing, recharging and the other is destructive.

One leads to MORE REALITY and the other leads into deeper and deeper illusion.

One allows one to see the much, much bigger picture, the other REDUCES reality.

One immediately REDUCES CHAOS and increases clarity, the other INCREASES CHAOS and reduces clarity.

One is logical, and the other is not.

This simple observation then heals the non-existent divide between "love and logic", or "emotions" and logic.

We can simply say that the clean form of emotions are the norm, and the disturbed form is the divergence which throws any system that comes into contact with it into its own chaos.

This makes it also easy to see why we really can "tap all our emotions away" and not lose a single thing worth having in the process.

These "chaos emotions" we are having at the moment, although they feel so precious and real as they would because it's all we are used to, aren't worth anything at all. They serve NO purpose other than being a howling alarm siren which is howling like that so that ACTION should be taken immediately.

To build an altar around the howling sirens and to wonder for a life time as to "what the message might be" is understandably insane, especially if it was computed from these very disturbed states of high stress in the first place, but serves no purpose WHATSOEVER.

And the final proof for this is as follows.

When one of the other classes of emotions, the clear, logical, healthy one emerges, to tap on THAT will not diminish it, but in the contrary, can only enhance it if it would do anything at all.

It would be a cruel, cruel test to challenge religious fundamentalists to "tap on their love of their prophet" to PROVE once and for all, to them and to me, whether what is going on there is REALLY REAL or just some chaotic hallucination of a sick mind/body totality.

If it changes materially or goes away entirely, then it wasn't of that logical, reality based class of undisturbed emotions.

Simple really.

Rather revolutionary also and a challenging concept.

However, the rewards for being brave enough to turn one's back on illusion and turn towards real reality are splendid, and manifold.

It is worth it - in the name of REAL love.

And of course, in the perfection of TRUE logic.
