Rage
is a beautiful thing.

Oh sure, we are scared,
scared to death
of its power
to ...

... rend the veils of illusion,
to take reality and smash it
like a mirror struck dead on center
with a flying fist;
to feed a lifetime's worth
of terror, brain entrainment
into a shredder in an instant,
make it all disappear,
makes the fear disappear
and there is nothing left
but will,
pure,
simple,
honest,
just this once,
honest,
just for this moment,
I am honest,
this is how I feel.
