Song Lyrics
			Hunting Hurricanes

So here it is the Silver City
and what must be has come to pass
the sky was dark and rain did fall
on us like moulten sheets of glass
while from the doorway single lunatics
						were staring straight at me
and all the others in the streets
						prayed for a world
						that went astray.

						It's a tough decision
but it could be your lucky day
You could take a closer look
						or simply hide away
						While we
						are hunting hurricanes.

						What's my enchantment with destruction
						my love affair with decadence?
His only talent was a pretty face,
he was just a pretty phase
						that I was passing through.
						And superstitiously I skim across
the pavement cracks and body bags
						so fearless and so masochist
amidst the seeping ruins of the day.

						It's a tough decision
but it could be your lucky day
You could take a closer look
						or simply hide away
						While we
						are hunting hurricanes.

						And finally the neon people
						called the travellers far away.
I feel the fascination, know my downfall
for I'm the rapist and the victim both today.
We used to hurt and flail each other,
so drawn and hooded, cloaked against the rain
but one by one, we'll find the threshold,
and must tumble to the light again.

Ah it was a tough decision
but this will be my lucky day
I will take a closer look
						and I won't hide away
						and I
						will hunt the hurricanes.

And I will slay the hurricanes. |
