can the colours be this bright
and memories flash like meteorites
far above the Titian night

that we stood and spoke in visions
of the past worlds,
and the new, and we were (young)
And the time was maybe now
or maybe never or forever
in the end there's only we,

And thus it was that we were both
transfixed yet undivided
mind to mind, hand to hand,
together yet apart
and yes you were so beautiful,
you brought my heartbeat to a halt
your skin was hot and dry
and you smelled of smoke and dust.
